Make a Difference

The Executive Director will oversee all operations for the partnership between Community Health Network Behavioral Health Services and Lutheran Child and Family Services. This includes youth residential care and youth/family community-based care services.

In collaboration with leadership, the Executive Director will oversee the development of mission and strategic plans. The individual will establish standards of support services as well as the development and consistent implementation of support services within programs based on regulatory requirements and accepted by national, state, and local standards of service. The Executive Director oversees operational and capital budget preparation and ensures the achievement of budget targets. The individual will lead efforts to improve service lines clinical and operation performance. The Executive Director will ensure exceptional patient experience and care as reflected in strong patient satisfaction scores.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

Applicants for this position must be able to collaborate and build effective relationships, think critically and independently resolve problems and effectively use interpersonal skills.

  • Master's degree or above in a behavioral health area is required.
  • MBA or MHA preferred.
  • 5 or more years of significant administrative leadership experience is required.
  • 5 or more years of direct clinical experience in mental health/CD/behavioral health field is required.
  • Must possess age-specific competencies to deal with the needs of the patient population served.
  • Knowledge of the child welfare services.
  • Ability to build, motivate, and lead a high-performing team.
  • Ability to develop a clear, realistic, and actionable vision and provide a result-orientated strategy.
  • Sufficient computer and data analysis skills to monitor and ensure compliance with the clinical and operational requirements of the areas of responsibility.
  • Effectively communicate through public speaking, PowerPoint, dashboards, visualizations, and/or other presentation formats.
  • Collaborate with all levels of the organization.
  • Collect and analyze data involving many variables to make decisions in a timely manner.
