The Executive Director, Global Learning & Leadership Development will work closely with leaders in the organization to execute NCR's HR/Talent & Employee Experience Strategy by:
  • Leading the global learning and leadership development practice, including strategies to grow and develop employees at all levels of the organization
  • Partnering closely with business leaders, HR leaders, and talent practitioners to bring development strategies to life
  • Driving continuous improvement and innovation across all facets of employee development, leading research, and best practices as the subject matter expert in this space
  • Leading the approach to global development including the best-in-class content, measurement strategy, framework, etc.
  • Advising and consulting with leaders across the organization on the most current, relevant, creative, and impactful development strategies in close partnership with HR leaders to ensure employees are enabled to be successful for continued career growth
  • Leading the design, development, and execution of NCRs leadership development strategy including framework, competencies and programs
  • Leading the design, development, and execution of NCRs global onboarding strategy
  • Managing strategic vendor partnerships in support of NCRs development strategy
  • Curating regular data, insights, and metrics related to employee development and ensuring maximum value and impact to the organization from development strategies
  • Integrating the development practice with other parts of the HR function - including talent acquisition, culture, diversity equity & inclusion to ensure NCR is a Great Place to Work
  • Supporting broader strategic HR / People initiatives as needed
  • Fostering relationships across NCR and being a role model for NCR's values, integrity, ethics and compliance.

  • Continuously stay connected to industry, HR, and talent trends
  • Balance strategies/plans with driving tactical execution
  • Successfully deploy and manage programs

BASIC REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of related progressive experience with increasing responsibility in Learning and Leadership Development management
  • Innovative knowledge of the principles, methods, and metrics of managing employee development strategies that align to key business goals
  • Strong ability to lead and organizationally and change theories
  • Excellent facilitation, public speaking, interpersonal, and communication skills required
  • Strong vendor relationships to develop a network of OD resources and tools
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement
