The Executive Director of Revenue Operations leads the strategy and tactics to optimize Amplify's revenue stack, including its CRM, revenue artificial intelligence platform, and sales engagement platforms, and lead routing tools to grow revenue and champion continuous operational improvement. This sales and operations leader collaborates with Sales and Operations leadership to develop and maintain a sales engagement ecosystem that enables the sales team to leverage buyer intent to inform sales strategy and tactics. When implemented with fidelity, the combination of buyer intent intelligence and sales engagement sequences will uncover opportunities ahead of our competitors and before prospects raise their hand. This optimizes accoun- based prospecting, taking away the dependency on inbound communication, responses to outbound marketing, and inefficient cold calling.
The ideal candidate for this role has led a revenue team, including number carrying sales professionals, sales or marketing operations, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities of the Executive Director Revenue Automation:
  • Optimize and champion Amplify's revenue systems ecosystem to inform the strategy and tactics of the Sales Organization.
  • Lead the implementation and adoption of a sales cycle driven by customer intent and automated sales engagement.
  • Lead efforts to improve and where possible automate Sales' processes and workflows that impact the sales cycle (from before hand raise to Close).
  • Develop and maintain reporting and dashboards for account health, Sales pipeline, and other KPIs as established by the business.
  • Lead the ongoing roadmap for Sales Systems to meet our business goals of growing revenue and operational excellence.
  • Provide strategic mentorship to optimize our Sales Development and Business Development teams, including attribution metrics and Live Chat.
  • Monitor and drive pipeline management practices to enable forecasting integrity.
  • Lead Sales territory management updates and maintenance in conjunction with Business Systems partners.
  • Lead and influence cross-departmental projects to improve customer experience and internal processes.
  • Works closely with Deal Desk and Ready to Sell teams to ensure Salesforce integration requirements are met with respect to product creation, maintenance, and bundling.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director of Sales Enablement to organize training and communication to ensure the fidelity of implementation of sales tools and processes.
  • Collaborates on various data and reporting projects with various teams, and works closely with the Financial Planning and Analysis team (FP&A) to align on corporate data needs.
  • Leads the review of vendor systems against Sales team needs, and recommends purchasing decisions.
  • Ensure that systems and processes align with the sales professionals day to day workflows, including but not limited to spending time in the field with the team and customers.

Basic Qualifications of the Executive Director Revenue Automation:
  • 8+ years of work experience in Sales or Marketing.
  • 4+ years of work leadership experience in a sales or marketing (revenue acquisition or operations)
  • 5+ Experience working with an integrating CRM and Revenue Automation systems
  • Outstanding ability to work across multiple teams to create solutions for complex business issues
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management experience

Preferred Qualifications of the Executive Director Revenue Automation:
  • BA/BS or advanced degree in Education, Business, Sales Management, or related field
  • Leadership experience in a SaaS sales organization
  • 3+ years CRM or Salesforce.com experience, Salesforce advanced training preferred
  • Curiosity about improving industry and product knowledge through self-study, training, and experience

Some travel required (about 15%-20%)

The gross salary range for this role is $145k - $165k. This role is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
