Job Description

Executive Director and Head of Program Management Office

Reports to: Chief Technology Officer


The Head of Program Management is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the company's program management function. This role is responsible for developing and implementing program management processes and tools and ensuring that the company's programs are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the company's program management function.
  • Develop and implement program management processes and tools.
  • Ensure the company's programs are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Establish project governance and ensure all projects align with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Provide regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders, including progress reports, risk assessments, and recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams, to ensure all project requirements are understood and met.
  • Coach and mentor project managers and team members, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle
  • Build internal capability for M&A integrations, with rigorous execution on integrations and building the GHX playbook of successful M&A integrations into the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, or related field
  • 15+ years of experience in program management, with at least 10+ years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of success in leading and managing complex programs within a high-tech environment with a deep understanding of product development in a technology business (preferably SaaS) 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team
  • Strong knowledge of program management methodologies, tools, and processes with a strong foundation in iterative value delivery
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Estimated Salary Range for this Position: $185,000-210,000 

The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the GHX’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of GHX’s total compensation package for employees.
