Executive Director, Project Manager - Ambulatory

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES The Executive Director is responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating designated projects based upon budgets and timelines that have been determined by management and other project specific requirements. This position is expected to provide an additional level of coordination, communication, and oversight for all ambulatory applications including projects related to those applications. Must maintain a good working relationship with colleagues and other UHS staff and perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s degree in IS or business is preferred. A PMI certification and experience in IT or healthcare is highly preferred. Must have experience managing projects in which the team members do not report to the project manager and must have worked in a team-oriented environment. Certification in Epic ambulatory applications is desired. Will be required to successfully pass the Epic pre-assessment test.
