Job Description:

Description: The Executive Director of Resource and Solution Management is responsible for technology solutions quality and delivery, as well as department resource management. This role is responsible for the management of resources, professional discipline, planning, tools, and processes associated with enterprise business architecture (EBA) and project portfolio management, project management, and project governance through the Project Management Office.

Typical Duties:

1. Assumes the overarching responsibility for supporting organizational and IT leadership in their efforts at overseeing, managing, and leveraging the entire life cycle of IT investments and initiatives to optimally achieve enterprise goals and objectives.
2. Focuses IT leadership efforts and provides/escalates data around the organizational aim of achieving an optimized mix among the IT project investments, making the best possible use of all resources, and delivering the maximum value and benefits from projects and programs within the portfolio.
3. Identifies, prioritizes and coordinates the project and program resources engaged with all or many of the initiatives within the IT project portfolio.
4. Facilitates business processes and their design within the context of technology delivery, and works collaboratively with business process owners, subject matter experts, and technologists to achieve organizational technology solutions.
5. Manages the professional discipline, planning, and processes associated with digital architecture. Provides a patient consumer focus to ensure impactful digital solutions that have a direct impact on engagement and experience in the digital space through the support of development, architecture, and implementation of digital strategies.
6. Translates business and functional strategies and plans into the domain-specific technology capabilities and business solutions plans/outcomes necessary to deliver the strategy. Recommends and participates in technology analysis, evaluation, and development of technology long-term strategic and operating plans to ensure that the EBA objectives are consistent with the enterprise's long-term business objective.
7. Directly manages business technologies, supervising the Director of IT Applications.
8. Manages vendor relationships and monitors the performance while ensuring the terms set forth in agreements/arrangements are being followed, particularly with respect to the vendor's commitment.Develops direct reports by defining roles/responsibilities and expectations, assigning and communicating performance, and promoting professional growth and accountability. Communicates and aligns the work priorities of the team with the organizational vision, mission, values, and service standards.
9. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
10. Must be able to complete all job duties and functions of the role with or without assistive/adaptive devices, and/or reasonable accommodations.
11. Work is subject to schedule changes and/or variable work hours.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business or Computer Science).
• 15 years of leadership experience managing Information Technology.
• Prior experience managing relationships with external vendors.
Preferred Education and Experience:
• Strong project management experience.
Preferred Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training:
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification/Project Management Institute (PMI).
