Executive Director, Sales Enablement
Job Description
The Executive Director of Sales Enablement is the key business partner to our Sales and Product leaders across the organizations. The role will oversee a team (Training, Best Practices, Sales Technology, Sales Analytics, Sales Operations, Contract Strategy) that provides strategic and operational support to the field and partner organizations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, help execute, and measure the implementation of strategic sales initiatives
- Help develop and deliver frontline enablement programs to ensure sales leaders have the skills, knowledge, processes, and tools required to lead their sales teams effectively
- Act as a 'change agent' to systematically drive and implement process changes through the sales organization and business as a whole in support of identified objectives
Monitor and measure effectiveness of sales programs and initiatives collaborating with the sales leadership team through data and analytics - Ensure alignment in our go-to-market motion and consistent deployment and usage of prescribed sales methodology
- Work with Sales Technology and Sales Operations to unify processes and systems that drive the delivery of sales enablement tools
- Responsible for ensuring that we have a best-in-class onboarding training experience.
- Responsible for development and deployment of ongoing training to maintain and increase ongoing sales productivity.
- Assist sales in preparation of deal proposals and negotiation strategies
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of enablement professionals as they drive all aspects of enablement.
- Develop effective revenue motions to deliver recognized revenue
- Leverage technology and tools to efficiently provide enablement service to end-users
Basic Qualifications:
Education and Experience: Bachelor's and 8 years or Master's and 6 years, 5 years of management
- Experience leading sales enablement function
- Knowledge of best practices, methodologies, and technologies for sales enablement, sales training, and sales support.
- Exceptional Communication Skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, Sales, Training or Communications
Experience: 10 years leading a sales enablement organization
- Demonstrated strategic planning skills and ability to operationalize strategy into practice through qualitative and quantitative feedback loops
- Strong ability to work cross-functionally with product, marketing, revenue operations and finance teams to create impact and translate business objectives to actionable and measurable strategies
- Metrics-driven mentality with focus on business outcomes and continual improvement
- Success in working closely with Business partners and other Sales Executives to develop strategies and tactics that drive targeting
- Proficient in use of productivity tools, customer relationship management tools, and marketplace awareness of vendor technologies
