Summary
Responsible for owning, implementing, and governing the Software Quality Assurance standards related to OCC's clearing, risk, and data platforms as well as legacy systems. Creates control environment to build assurance within the teams and ensures that quality standards are being followed. Utilizing experience in cloud and on-premises technology to proactively identify, remediate, and close issues with quality processes. Demonstrated success in responding to and effectively closing findings in challenging regulatory environment. Drives organizational transformation of moving from on-premises to a hybrid environment (cloud and on-prem) in the financial trading industry where traceability and proactive self-auditing are critical for success. Responsible for implementation and ongoing operationalization of test management tooling.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the Software Quality Assurance strategy to refining and establish standards in the cloud and on Prem. Leads the Enterprise Quality Management team to implement and governing controls across application development.
- Driving the response to Regulators to effectively respond to and close findings by mobilizing resources and prioritizing timelines.
- Defines and implements enterprise quality standards.
- Participates in the communication and analysis of test results and patterns, providing a feedback loop to requirements gathering, design and development teams regarding traceability.
- Owns defect management process, implementing changes as required through active monitoring.
- Enables the integration between disparate tools.
- Recommends, designs, and oversees the implementation of automation frameworks
- Collaborates with architecture, development, and business tams to provide cohesive test plans.
- Ensures QA metrics are defined and reported, setting minimal acceptable results.
- Provides input on application security testing.
- Implements and Operationalizes test management tool.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- [Required] Advanced knowledge of a development lifecycle under Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
- [Required] Ability to manage small- and large-scale projects and ensuring team efficiency
- [Required] Broad based knowledge of the Lifecyle development, change control management, test planning management
- [Required] Strong analytical skills with potential to display methods of testing highly sophisticated systems, progressively diagnose system defects, and clearly communicate project constituents, key findings and learnings
- [Required] Strong communication skills, written and oral, sound judgement and time management skills, ability to work effectively with clients (users), management and staff
- [Required] Advanced design and development skills in one of the following technologies and tools: Fitnesse Automation for Appian, Selenium and Protractor
- [Required] Highly motivated self-starter with creative problem-solving skills
- [Required] Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced Agile environment
- [Required] Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- [Required] Advanced experience with team leadership and development
Technical Skills:
- [Required] Highly motivated self-starter with creative problem-solving skills
- [Required] Relational databases and query tools. (SQL Server, Oracle and DB2)
- [Required] Automated testing tool experience (Selenium, ServiceNow Automated Test Framework, QTP, Protractor)
- [Required] Experience implementing SAS (Software as Service) applications such as Appian, Archer, Service Now, Oracle ERP and Workday
- [Preferred] experience in dashboarding
- [Required] experience with Jira and Tableau
- [Preferred] experience in SpiraTest and testing management utilities
Education and/or Experience:
- [Required] Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- [Preferred] Master's Degree
- [Required] 15+ years of experience in system analysis and application testing role
- [Required] 7 years of leadership experience with management (interview, hire, performance manage, team development and individual development of employee towards career growth)
- [Required] Test management experience leading small to large projects and development of test plans
- [Required] demonstrated success at multiple job levels
- [Preferred] experience as an auditor
- [Required] experience in financial trading industry
- [Preferred] experience in capital markets (options/futures)
