Executive Director, Technical Training and Development

What You'll Do
As an Executive Director on OCCβs Organizational Development team, you will be responsible for leading initiatives involving technical and business domain knowledge, skill identification and development to ensure skill development is aligned to business strategy. This role is responsible for working with cross-functional leaders, subject matter experts and learning partners on training need identification, need analysis, execution, review and reporting in conjunction with organizational transformation activities.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.
Develop and lead strategic initiatives involving technical and business domain skill identification and development.
Manage technical and business learning activities (knowledge transfer, need analysis, competency model, plan, develop and execute learning programs, reporting and analysis of training programs, etc.) across the company.
Partner and consult with cross-functional subject matter experts to identify knowledge and skill gaps and drive identified initiatives to build identified skills and functional capabilities.
Develop a deep understanding of OCC systems and processes and be able to document as needed to support company learning and transformation objectives.
Ensure that the company is identifying the skills, knowledge and learning needs to execute our strategy in the future.
Collaborate and partner with other HR teams to ensure that identified knowledge and skills trends inform HR activities including recruiting, workforce planning, and future training investments, etc.
Lead the team of learning partners and technical writers to drive learning programs efficiently across the company.
Provide expertise, coaching and guidance in instructional design, content development and production processes to ensure the highest quality content, resources and materials are integrated and maintained in offerings.
Create systems documentation in alternative media forms to support the execution of production systems, ensuring consistency across all documentation.
Create robust knowledge management systems and effective cross organizational sharing of lessons, best practices, and technical expertise across the organization.
Conduct ongoing assessments to ensure target knowledge proficiency goals are met.
Provide monthly and quarterly dashboards/reports on learning achievements to senior management.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Managing Director, Organizational Development and Change Management.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Experience with technology including learning management systems and course authoring tools used to enable and support learning & organizational development solutions.
Deep understanding of effective blended learning solutions
Experience with Jira, Confluence, Tableau preferred
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelorβs Degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 10+ years of broad experience developing comprehensive learning and development programs including at least 5 years of management experience leading people managers and individual contributor levels.
Minimum 10+ years of writing and editing experience with established style guidelines
Strong technical background and prior experience developing learning assets for software/systems implementations.
Previous experience in the financial services industry preferred
