EXECUTIVE PASTRY CHEF, NF-04/RFT, CAMP FOSTER (58 SWEETS)

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must have 5 years supervisory experience in the production of baked goods, pastries and/or confections following traditional and modern techniques.
2. Five years as an executive pastry chef or chef in charge of production of baked goods, pastry and/or confection. Experience must be within the past ten years.
3. Certification as CEPC (Certified Executive Pastry Chef) is highly desired.
4. Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
5. Ability to provide leadership and depth of knowledge to a diverse management and hourly staff; provide direction for training, guidance, development, and supervision.
6. Previous experience in a private club, resort, or luxury hotel preferred.
7. Extensive fiscal management experience to include developing and managing budgets, P&L, fiscal analysis, and utilization of data to make effective business decisions and strong knowledge in standard costing for food operations.
8. Skilled in plated desserts as well as banquet presentation.
9. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively with the military community, employees, and executive management.
10. Highly developed organizational skills, including ability to manage multiple and often conflicting priorities, meet deadlines and proactively address operational needs.
11. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Programs to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. to present a variety of statistical data and reports.
