Executive Personal Assistant to the COO – ANN ARBOR & YPSILANTI – IN-PERSON
Job Summary
Our client is looking for an experienced Executive Personal Assistant to manage a business executive in a fast-paced environment including organizing public relations events, speaking engagements, and interviews with news outlets. This role provides high-level administrative support and is responsible for efficiently and effectively managing the day-to-day schedule for the COO, booking travel arrangements, and supporting various household management needs. This person should be comfortable with high demands for timeliness, precision, and accuracy in all worked performed.
Reports to
Chief Operating Officer
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Organize PR events and speaking engagements
- Coordinate interviews with news outlets
- Book travel arrangements, transportation, and other reservations
- Schedule meetings and appointments
- Calendar management
- Ad hoc projects
- Plan kid’s events and activities
- Help with homework (middle school level)
- Schedule doctor’s appointments
Essential Job Functions/Duties
- Takes independent action on handling requests; determines the appropriate course of action, intervenes where necessary, and acts as a liaison between departments
- Coordinates data from a variety of sources for inclusion in reports and presentations; performs independent research and prepares information for special projects as assigned
- Provides other essential tasks, as determined by executive leadership, that help achieve optimum efficiency
- Detail oriented with precision in processing and producing documents
Minimum Requirements to Apply
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university (Preferred)
- Minimum of four years in administrative support roles
- Minimum of two years administrative support at the executive level
- Minimum of two years personal assistant experience at the executive level
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Schedule
Monday through Friday, 12pm-8pm
