Executive Recruiting Analyst
Job Description
K1 Operations is seeking an adaptable, detail oriented, and ambitious Executive Recruiting Analyst to join our expanding Recruiting team in our Manhattan Beach office. This individual will work closely with our Senior Manager, Human Capital and Practice Director of Recruiting to lead executive searches across the K1 portfolio and build the firm’s global talent network.
The Recruiting Analyst will work to consistently identify and help recruit high quality, diverse executives for the K1 portfolio companies. This individual will collaborate directly with portfolio company CEO’s, board members, and K1 partners to research, identify, and manage candidates throughout the search process and ensure a best-in-class candidate experience from initial contact through placement. This person will also be involved in supporting various K1 Human Capital initiatives and executive recruiting/networking events globally.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary talent researcher for the firm focused on identifying and mapping out relevant executives/advisors at target companies across the enterprise software space
- Expand and innovate on our executive recruiting capabilities by creating new ways to build/manage the K1 network, attract top-tier candidates to our businesses and evaluate candidates
- Draw insights from our executive search software and build out our reporting capability. Ensure data integrity across the platform.
- Assist with additional Human Capital programs including K1 executive networking events globally
- Manage the interview loop, sending emails to set the context around candidates, ensuring interview schedules are kept, scheduling post-interview debrief meetings, and providing timely feedback to search firm partners
- Proactively knowledge capture people information from searches, at portfolio companies and from general network building activities
- Manage a repository of Position Specifications to be accessible across the portfolio
- Design (with input) and implement an approach to measure recruiting metrics (number of candidates, days to close, diversity of slate)
- Act as a Project Manager and utility player for ad hoc needs for Executive Recruiting/Operations team
Qualifications:
- Exceptional organization skills and highly detail orientated
- Strong time management ability and capable of managing multiple competing priorities
- A stellar work ethic and can work independently as well as within a team
- Mature interpersonally, with excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to interface with all levels of the organization and with external executives
- Sound judgement and a demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Prior experience in executive search or within the software industry is a plus, but not required
- Bachelor’s degree
