The Executive Rewards & Incentives Team (ER&I) provides expertise in the areas of executive and director compensation and benefits, incentive design, pay-performance alignment, and corporate governance. The role of the ER&I Senior Analyst is to provide advanced analytical support to the ER&I team across all executive rewards matters, to be the subject matter expert and technical lead on ER&I analytical work and provide high quality service to stakeholders using analysis and judgement of internal and external data and approved methodologies.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Executive Pay Benchmarking

  • Support the preparation of Executive Rewards survey submissions (i.e., Pay, Incentives, M&A), including data collection, role matching, and related analysis of survey reports in collaboration with Associate Rewards
  • Perform market benchmarking analyses to ensure that rewards packages are competitive in relation to salary and incentives against our stated pay philosophy.
  • Conduct proxy analysis from public filings in support of competitive market assessments.
  • Undertake ad-hoc benchmarking and prepare salary proposals relating to promotions and moves within the Global Leader (GL) population.
  • Support the annual GL merit process, including preparation of pay analysis, budget proposal, P&O pay proposal materials, analysis of proposals and implementation.
  • Maintain internal database of the executives, e.g., GL Roster.

Analytics

  • Provide analytics to assess the effectiveness of our executive pay programs (e.g., goal/target setting, pay-for-performance analysis, pay-at-risk review, tally sheets, etc.)
  • Design, build and implement analytical models using people and market data to forecast costs, identify issues and impacts.
  • Support on compensation strategy issues surrounding mergers and acquisitions, key executive retention arrangements, and Associate severance and change-in-control programs
  • Working on ad-hoc rewards projects throughout the year, including research and analysis together with the development of recommendations.
  • Provide rewards related administration, e.g., manage ER&I mailbox, rewards meetings, invoices.

Executive Rewards Governance

  • Provide data insights and analysis for Remuneration and Talent Committee (RTC) papers.
  • Support ER&I to design philosophies and strategies to attract, reward and retain talent through analytics.
  • Subject matter expert on ER&I related policies and governance, providing sound guidance to broader rewards team.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the internal and external compliance and guidance information relating to executive rewards issues.

Incentives

  • Support with the design and delivery of the executive incentive plans.
  • Analytical support for annual and long-term incentive programs e.g., cost modelling / analysis, Associate LTI estimates, etc.
  • Point of contact for incentive program participants at all levels of the organization.
