Executive Sales Assistant

Tom James Company is the largest manufacturer of custom tailored clothing in the world. We are seeking an Executive Sales Assistant for a top Sales Professional/Senior Vice President in our Baltimore area office. The candidate must be highly motivated, an adept learner, and able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously. This is a full-time position, paying $60,000 per year plus monthly bonuses. Role includes numerous overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

• Ride days with sales professional in field to assist in meeting with clients
• Maintenance of filing system and client orders
• Organization and tracking of inventory (suits, shirts, shoes) in and out of the office via Google Sheets
• Reporting sales numbers daily via Google Sheets with assistance of sales professional
• Communicating with factories for status of orders and rushes
• Preparing clothing for delivery by sales professional
• Shipping clothing to clients or factories as needed
• Picking up or delivering clothing to clients as needed
• Collecting balances via our software system
• Posting on social media (LinkedIn) weekly
• Following up on all emails and requests from clients and factories
• Assisting in scheduling travel needs

• Has a professional image to interact with corporate clients
• Must have strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Must be able to work well under pressure
• Must be able to multitask and transition from one project to the next with ease
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must have strong Microsoft skills / Google Docs, Sheets, Excel experience
• Must be a quick learner with the ability to prioritize workload
• Must be willing and able to learn our software systems
• Must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Must have two years office-related experience
• Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license
