Job Description
- Establish and maintain relationships with key industry influencers/decision makers, key strategic partners and strategic accounts as defined by reporting structure
- Maintains a comprehensive client relationship with key executives (CEO, CFO, COO, CTO), engineering, asset management, procurement, supply chain and district operations by providing support, information, and guidance, researching and recommending new opportunities and solutions
- Develop and maintain a like relationship with all NOV internal business development community
- Collaborates with Business groups to understand packaging options and business needs. Focus will be placed on "solution selling" initiatives with strategic accounts
- Identifies product improvements or new product opportunities by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Capable of selling new product solutions that position NOV as a clear technology leader
- Report updates weekly via CRM and follow monthly/quarterly reporting as required by management; Utilize CRM to communicate with field sales team all opportunities for region
- This position will be the face of ISE with focus on CTN2 Western Hemisphere and will provide support for all USA based companies operating internationally
- Help develop and implement strategic marketing plans, sales plans and forecasts on key accounts
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; committee involvement with identified associations; establishing industry networks
- Key performance metrics will include- Strategic Account % Sales Growth, Solution Selling Wins, Business Group Packaged Sells
- Manage the Western Hemisphere Field Sales team and train them on all aspects of CTN2 while they remain focused on their specific product line
- Provide Field Sales with monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews to discuss overall performance and goals
- Help determine appropriate needs within the field sales team
- Position ISE at the beginning of all potential opportunities by gathering feedback with early client engagement strategies
- Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales and areas of proposed client base expansion
- Provide high level presentations highlighting ISE products with specific focus on CTN2 products
- Understand and utilize all resources within NOV to help drive wins and increase sales
- Closely collaborate and jointly develop business strategies that include AACD and AM
- May perform other duties as assigned by manager.
- Within the scope of the job requirements, will be required to adhere and comply with state and federal law, the Company ISO Quality Program and procedures, Company policies and Safety and Environmental Regulations.
- Analyzes and controls expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Broad knowledge and experience in: Sales, marketing, and mechanical functions
- Above average skills in: Customer relations
- Demonstrated ability to: Persevere and see things through no matter the time or knowledge required, look outside the box to ensure customer satisfaction
- General knowledge of: Completion and Production systems on land and offshore.
- Ability to travel
