Job Description

What we are seeking for this role

  • We are looking to hire an energetic, eager, presentable, organized, problem solving, and business minded Sales Representative to provide and implement Solution Sales and Business Development strategies that enhances the commercial development of M/D Totco's Surface and Down Hole Digital Solution products. This role will be able to demonstrate M/D Totco's experience, technical expertise and dedication to partner with customers to help improve drilling, completion and production operations, data management and optimization needs. This role will work closely with sales and operations personnel, product line, engineering, and other management resources to grow profitable revenue, product penetration and market share through existing and potential customer opportunities.

Job Descriptions

  • Promote and sell M/D Totco products and services to Operators, Drilling Contractors and Service Companies.
  • The account representative is the focal point for supporting and implementing the M/D Totco digital product line sales strategy within their designated customers to achieve all profitable revenue and market share goals and objectives.
  • Understand customer problems and define customer value from proposed solutions.
  • Maintain open and constant communication with customers to gain information on customers future strategy and communicate back to the management team for future planning
  • Identify new business opportunities, qualifying needs and pursue key decision-makers
  • Customer visits, client office based support and travel throughout region of responsibility as and when required. Travel outside of the area of responsibility when required
  • Identify market challenges and evaluate applicable M/D Totco current and future technologies in development or in need of development.
  • Assist turning product performance results into customer value, ensuring customer benefits are clearly understood.
  • Represent M/D Totco through industry associations i.e. (SPE, IADC, AADE, etc.) events and meetings and provide detailed feedback
  • Must adopt and use CRM, keeping current all customer information, revenue opportunities, pricing agreements, contracts, etc.
  • Prepare and update customer strategy reports, product pricing, proposals, customer presentations, new technology opportunities
  • Monitor and play an active role in assisting AR with any past due accounts.
  • This role requires office and field visits and setting up customer meetings along with product support where applicable.

Experience and Education:

  • Solid Data collection, aggregation and transmission background.
  • 5 years experience in the industry
  • Previous technical experience required
  • Previous sales experience required
  • Bachelor's or Associates degree/diploma in a technical field or equivalent work experience
  • High School Diploma or GED is a minimum requirement for this role
  • Downhole product knowledge and experience, considered an asset
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent social skills with the ability to negotiate
