Job Description

Team: Administrative

A World-Changing Company

Palantir builds the world’s leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. By bringing the right data to the people who need it, our platforms empower our partners to develop lifesaving drugs, forecast supply chain disruptions, locate missing children, and more.

The Role

Our Administrative Operations Team does more than just support our leaders: we’re the backbone of hard-working people at Palantir. We build strong relationships with the people we support and can anticipate their needs without being asked. Our passion for helping others makes us an invaluable resource.

As an Executive Team Assistant, you will be responsible for navigating and organizing an executive’s commitments. In this role you will own a wide variety of tasks including executive-level administrative support, assisting with errands, and household management. You take initiative, operate with discretion and resourcefulness, and thrive off of enabling the people you support to be as productive and impactful as possible. Most importantly, you have a true desire to be helpful and go above and beyond to tackle challenges.

The position does require being on-call after hours and on weekends, and the person who accepts the challenge will appreciate a flexible schedule.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage calendar, prioritizing conflicting meeting requests
  • Arrange business and other travel itineraries
  • Maintain records of business and personal transactions and submit expense reports
  • Export organization and order into disorganized environments
  • Handle various matters with discretion and diplomacy (scheduling appointments, completing paperwork, communicating with vendors, etc.)
  • What We Value

  • Ability to autonomously anticipate needs, multitask, prioritize, and pivot with strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
  • Demonstrated experience exercising professionalism and tact
  • What We Require

  • At least one year of previous administrative or support experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Outlook calendaring
  • Experience scheduling complex international and domestic travel itineraries, including booking and expense reporting (prior experience with Concur is a plus!)
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work a varied schedule (nights/weekends will be required), and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time both domestically and internationally
