About the Position:
As a member of the GOVERNMENT/CUSTOMER Enterprise Planning and Management team, you will support our customer as a Mission Engineer. The GOVERNMENT/CUSTOMER team provides Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support for our customer’s strategic planning, enterprise architecture, investment planning, policy and governance functions, in addition to corporate support to government leadership teams. You will work with team members from across the GOVERNMENT/CUSTOMER team as well as government, FFRDC, SETA and IT service providers. You will specifically support the customer’s Chief of Staff (CoS) team in the organization’s role to provide continuity planning and exercise support. In this role, you will undertake projects to provide trusted analysis and facilitation of the customer’s continuity planning and exercises, assessing their alignment to organizational strategy, goals, and objectives, now and into the future, and to identify capability gaps and needed adjustments. Activities may include but are not limited to:
The successful candidate will:
- Provide project management and coordination support to continuity of operations activities.
- Provide support in the translation of continuity and exercise requirements into IT service needs and requirements, designs, and orders.
- Support the implementation, sustainment, and improvement of processes to facilitate responsibilities.
- Conducting organizational reviews to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities and to evaluate operational effectiveness.
Required qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance, with CI Poly
- NRO or IC mission experience
- MS with 8+ years or BS with 11+ years of demonstrated performance related to tasks above.
- Ability to excel as a member of a collaborative team through open communication, transparency, and flexibility.
- Ability to relate professionally with senior Government customers and colleagues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired qualifications:
- Knowledge in DoD Joint Publication 5-0 doctrine and experience implementing joint exercises
- Experience providing Systems Engineering & Technical Assistance (SETA) support to NRO continuity planning and exercise activities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
- Experience supporting multi-agency IT initiatives with responsibilities in strategic planning, architecting, policy, governance, or portfolio management.
