Exhibits Specialist (Graphic Designer)

Candidates must meet the Qualification Standards Handbook requirements for the GS-1010-12. For this position, Candidates must possess at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent in responsibility to the federal GS-11 level, designing and physically creating graphics for exhibitions.

Those applicants who meet the minimum qualification requirements will be evaluated against these factors to determine the best-qualified candidates.

1. Graphics – Skill in designing, printing, and installing graphic signage.

2. Production & Project Management: Responsibilities to include project management, production and installation, and digital asset management of multiple projects relating to special exhibitions, permanent collection installations and campus signage.

Other Relevant Eligibility Criteria: Must possess visual acuity sufficient to create accurate, color matched digital output. Must be able to climb a ladder.  Must be able to lift and carry 15 pounds. Must be able to work occasional weekend and evening overtime hours.
