Job Description
We are hiring an Expansion Associate to play an important, central, and highly cross-functional role to ensure all property openings are completed successfully as we continue to expand our portfolio. Reporting to the Senior Expansion Manager, this person is responsible to support multiple internal stakeholders and ensure all documentation is up to date to communicate across teams. This role requires 50% travel or as business dictates and is a remote position.Â
AT MINT HOUSE YOU WILL- Responsible for leading all on-property due diligence and site visits as identified pre / post deal closing through the expansion process with the direction of Senior Manager, Expansions
- Support expansion project management across all internal systems and participate in weekly internal meetings to relay messaging as it relates to project status
- Run coordination of project-related items critical to project success on property (i.e. coordination of things like property signage, window treatments, locks etc)
- Responsible to oversee all design, procurement, logistics, tech, and any other on-property process to ensure all units are launched on time and with operational success (i.e. all measurements, electrical is accounted for, procurement matches market par level and other needs, etc)
- Execute ongoing logistics within Expansion projects until property meets brand standards - responsible for ensuring all on property details are accounted for and executed with success
- Travel up to 50% to markets to be in charge of miscellaneous vendor installs with product, procurement, and logistic partners and vendors
- Partner with Market Leads, Operations, Task Force Managers & Property Teams to complete checklists onsite
- Previously been in project management role at a hotel / hospitality company to understand the multi-layered operationsÂ
- Understands the importance of “getting in the field” in order to communicate effectively and oversee all aspects of ExpansionÂ
- Your vibe is making it happen, whether this means joining a new build or launch, jumping into a weekly project planning meeting, helping audit a warehouse, or chatting with a property manager at the on-site
- Experience working with Excel and project management software (Wrike, Airtable, etc.)Â
- You’re known to rise to the challenge and comfortable solving problems
- Strong listening and verbal communication skills: you will need to quickly understand needs or issues and deliver a clear and concise message via video calls and emails
- Ability to work well under pressure, effectively handle multiple demands and prioritize responsibilities

- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and ensure consistent, accurate data reporting across all departments and communicating across all channels
- Project manage 8-10 projects at a time and travel 2 times a month (50%) or as business needs dictate
Compensation Range: $58,000 - $65,000
