About the position:

Responsible for performing a variety of coordinating, routing and material handling duties to meet production or project schedules. Normally receives no instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments.

• Expedites parts to remedy shortage problems.
• Picks up and delivers materials within and outside of company and maintains records on material flow.
• May be responsible for ensuring incoming materials are properly routed.
• May monitor the flow of materials and parts between departments in order to meet scheduled commitments.
• Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations.

About the work environment:

Works in a factory setting. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in accordance with Company policy. For forklift operation, required to obtain and maintain Forklift Driver Certification through the Company and operate the forklift in a safe manner. Required to stand for long periods of time and manually lift/move/manipulate parts up to 50 pounds or use cranes/hoists to move heavier materials. Temperatures may be extreme; elevated in the summer, cold in the winter. Needs to be able to cope with stressors and demands that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable and defined levels of performance are maintained.

About you:

• A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• One or more years of related experience such as stock, inventory control, material control, accounting or purchasing is required.

About the total compensation package:

Salary-Salaries ranging from $18.00 - $21.00 per hour depending on experience

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• This is an entry-level position; no previous experience is required. However, six or more months of related experience is preferred.
