Expense Analyst

Job Description

General Function:

This individual will support a large IT Services team in the creation, assembly and analysis of data in order to create business information. Specifically, this person will be charged with identifying trends and patterns in a variety of data sources. Further, this person will need to be able to communicate findings through verbal, written and graphic media (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).

Further, this person will be responsible for completing certain recurring processes and procedures in support of the operational needs of the organization (recurring reports, approvals, meeting planning)

• Works as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes and information systems.
• Understands business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.
• Supports management in understanding and assessing the fit and gaps for business requirements.
• Responsible for understanding and documenting business requirements for specific business problems
• Participates in validating, testing, and updating project documentation.

• Models data and processes.
• Works with internal teams to assist in business process redesign as needed for realization of business benefits.
• Successful completion of certain recurring operational and administrative tasks.
