General position summary:
This position will process third party supplier invoice payments in compliance with the client's established relocation policies. The Analyst must have a detailed understanding of relocation-related expenses to determine taxable vs. nontaxable treatment as stated within IRS guidelines.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Audit supplier invoices to ensure compliance with client's relocation policies and IRS requirements. Review expense reports and invoices for mathematical accuracy and to ensure completeness of supporting documentation to substantiate underlying transactions.
- Prepare requests for disbursement of funds to third party suppliers based on supporting documentation previously audited.
- Routinely interact/coordinate with counselors to resolve discrepancies, to review issues related to exceptions to the client's policy and to determine/evaluate the nature of the transactions to ensure accurate coding for taxability purposes.
- Research and respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status, adjustment to invoices and other vendor-related issues.
- Enter data into expense tracking system. Determine appropriate codes to be used for taxability purposes. Review data to verify dollar amounts, payee selections, reporting criteria, and accurate spelling.
- Assist team on as needed basis.
- Assist Expense Admin Supervisor with special projects as deemed necessary.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills to manage daily responsibilities

Education & Experience:
Associates Degree in Accounting or commensurate experience; Two to three years related experience; Experience using Microsoft Office preferred.
TRAVEL:
- Less than 10% required.

Computer Operations:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

- Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as situations and needs change throughout the workday
- Ability to multi-task and organize workflow to manage daily responsibilities, meet deadlines and prioritize work
