Job DescriptionIn this role you will be a trusted advisor within Experian Auto, providing thoughtful pricing strategy recommendations and ensuring timely responses to business opportunities. You will bring experience performing financial analysis of costs and prices, as well as competitive analysis of product pricing and offerings. You see the big picture and are a critical part of helping the business growth profitably.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Experian Auto’s sales representative to manage pricing initiatives aimed at improving growth and profitability.
- Review, research, and respond to pricing requests/opportunities.
- Lead and manage internal pricing discussions with cross functional teams.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations team to improve the pricing governance process.
- Conduct process analysis to help improve pricing operations and management.
- Identify and provide recommendations on designing new pricing models.
- Support Sales, Product and Client Services teams to modify existing pricing models for complex non-standard opportunities.
- Provide negotiations strategy recommendations for large and complex opportunities.
- Collaborate with other internal Auto teams to perform pricing analysis, margin analysis, and price increase analysis.
- Develop deep understanding of Experian’s products, operations and cost drivers, and incorporate this knowledge into pricing practices to improve margins.
- 8-10 years of experience in pricing or a similar Finance/Business role
- BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA/MS preferred.
- Experience managing and evolving pricing processes that involve cross-functional partners.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and have high level of ownership.
- Experience using Excel and Tableau to develop financial models.
- Financial analysis experience with understanding of revenue, margin and pricing drivers.
- Experience performing competitive analysis to understand market positioning.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally; ability to support and meet dynamic and tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to effectively manage projects across multiple business partners in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in process improvement requiring collaboration across broader organization.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience and education. This position is also eligible for a variable pay opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package which includes health, life and disability insurance, generous paid time off including paid parental and family care leave, an employee stock purchase plan and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
