RAPP Chicago is looking for an Experience Strategist to join our award-winning Experience Strategy team.

RAPP is an integral part of Omnicom’s Precision Marketing Group, comprising 4,000 creatives, technologists, strategists, and data and marketing scientists across 40 global markets. 

YOUR ROLE:

As an Experience Strategist, you are responsible for understanding our audience, challenges and opportunities for projects geared towards helping continue our growth.

The Experience Strategist should be constantly learning about the different audiences we’re impacting through first and third party data, as well as continuously monitoring best in class standards. Within the Innovation track, the Experience Strategist should proactively be seeking opportunities to impact our business in ways that haven’t yet been pursued.

Do you like to ask questions and explore solutions? Do you get excited when digging into new, next opportunities and technologies? Are you ready to jump in, find and fix problems, go above and beyond and stand up for individuality? Then this role is for you. We’re looking for a self-starter who is comfortable working “in the gray” and within a team offering hypotheses, solutions and best way forward ideas. In addition to ideating, you’ll also get your hands dirty in creating concepts and tests for varying types of projects along the user journey. Resourcefulness, proactivity and natural curiousity will be key to your success.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Become the subject matter expert on the consumer journey and audience
  • Utilizes data to identify oppportunties and insights within the consumer journey
  • Identify solutions for complex business problems
  • Create project strategies to maximize project impact
  • Understand data and system limitations in order to identify potential solutions
  • Collaborates with Account, Marketing Sciences, Creative and Technology Teams
  • Manage innovation workstreams
  • Work with other agency partners to foster successful projects
  • Ensure project deliverables align to the strategy previously outlined
  • Identify KPI and potential impact for a given project
  • Present to internal and external stakeholders

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or other related degree/ equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years Marketing analytical experience or similar work
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel to present a story to client
  • A practical and communicable approach to problem solving
  • An empathetic mindset about the end user and their journey
  • Comfortable speaking up and owning their opinion
  • An ability to effectively work and communicate with all disciplines from creative to client to technology & data.
  • Energized by new opportunities, technologies and ideas
  • A self-starter with a good work ethic capable of building good working relationships with clients as well as other team members
  • Recognizes the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organization and seeks to understand those different perspectives and cultures
  • Contributes to a work culture where differences are valued and supported

Our hybrid work model:

RAPP's current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections and collaboration that is core to our culture, while also supporting flexibility for all employees. As such, we have the option to work from home two days per week, if we'd like.

This range is specific to Chicago and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
