VSA Partners was founded 40 years ago with the purpose to design for a better human experience, using design as not only a craft but also a tool for achieving business goals and behavior change. Experience VSA Program

We are opening up our doors in our Chicago and New York office to emerging talent! This two-day immersive experience will give our participants and overview of VSA and a full day of shadowing an experienced professional in their field. Our chosen participants will witness “real work,” with meetings, deadlines, and business challenges with current clients. This is a bird's eye view you won’t get in a classroom. Consider it a peek into your potential career future, with the freedom to learn, question and grow! You’ll be paired with an individual mentor and shadow in an outstanding cross-disciplinary environment passionate about customer experience, brand, communications, marketing, and digital.

Please note, this is an unpaid, two-day experience in our Chicago office on August 1st and 2nd, 2023.

VSA’s Design Practice offers a unique cross-disciplinary environment focused on exemplary digital strategy and digital design. Our goal of designing for a better human experience shines with the digital practice’s attention to attention to detail and user experience curiosity.

The User Experience shadow participant will be in the front seat of individual digital projects, observing our team as they develop comprehensive research and design elements. Consider it career practice, with the freedom to learn, ask questions and tag along with an individual mentor. This opportunity calls for someone who is eager to understand how a creative agency works with a variety of clients and industries on diverse project types. Please note, this is an unpaid, 2 day experience located in our Chicago Office.

Qualifications 

• Current senior enrolled in or recent graduate of an accredited University studying User Experience Design or related field.
• A passion for learning and an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Have experience with user-centered design methods, including: user research, requirements gathering, journey mapping, solution concept development, prototype design and specification, and usability testing
