About the Role Prado & Renteria CPAs, Prof. Corp. is currently interviewing Experienced Auditors to join our team. In this position, you will participate in various audit engagements and special projects, contribute to team building, and build trusted relationships with clients. What You'll Do • Develops an understanding of the business and the Experienced Role. • Enhance technical skills at the Experienced Level, both on the job and through formal learning channels. • Works as an effective team member to complete project components and assignment tasks. • Builds working relationships at peer client level. • Seeks to gain knowledge of client businesses. • Effectively documents work. • As a member of the team - implements solutions for clients. • Identifies task issues as well as task progress in a timely and organized manner. • Participates in office wide initiatives • Actively pursues self-development opportunities in line with the competency model. (See Human Resources for Competency Model for your role) • Builds strong team relationship skills. • Master a variety of audit and special procedures, including: • Tests of complex account balances and transactions. • Analyze processes and transactions to determine compliance with policies and/or applicable regulations. • Prepare work papers to ensure sufficiency of documentation and evidence to support conclusions. • Document and evaluate internal controls. • Identify and prepare recommendations based on audit findings for presentation to management. • Proactively communicate with client staff to gather information and resolve audit issues. • Actively participate in firm-wide projects, training programs (internal and external), networking, and other firm initiatives. What You Bring • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, eligibility to sit for the CPA exam, a plus • Experience in Public accounting and/or auditing experience • Experience with nonprofit audits and compliance audits preferred • Strong analytical, documentation, and client service skills • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines • A collaborative mindset and strong work ethic Why Join Prado & Renteria?
