Description of Duties ● Work alongside a construction crew and in a shop to meet scheduling goals and client expectations ● Ensuring projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes while maintaining high quality ● Identify and manage opportunities and risks to achieve the best possible results for Scope, Quality, and Schedule Targets ● Continuously develop professionally ● Communicate with clients professionally and appropriately ● Participate in creating a healthy, happy work environment and culture ● Maintain a clean, organized and professional presentation of work sites Technical Skills & Requirements ● 5+ years of experience with woodworking ● Skilled in cabinet building, furniture building and trim carpentry ● Able to take the lead on a cabinet or furniture building project ● Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction ● Proficient in using a full range of tools and construction equipment ● Able to read technical documents and drawings ● Willing to follow safety guidelines at all times ● Fluent and strong communication skills in English ● Good understanding of basic math ● Good physical condition and endurance ● High school diploma ● Successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is preferred Key Personal Attributes ● Trustworthy, honest, respectful, accountable and reliable ● Calm, positive, and have a solution-oriented attitude in all situations ● Committed to personal excellence, driven to succeed with a "can do" attitude ● Flexible and adaptable ● Curious, collaborative, passionate and detail-oriented ● A lifelong learner motivated to continue to learn and grow ● Able to demonstrate leadership in health, safety and environmental protection ● A steward of your community; committed to giving back and serving others Compensation ● Competitive salary ● Positive and supportive work environment ● Opportunities for continual growth and development Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: • On-the-job training Schedule: • Monday to Friday • Weekends as needed Ability to Relocate: • Austin, TX: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
