Your role in our mission

  • Designs, implements and maintains complex databases, access methods, access time, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods to ensure that client requirements are satisfied.
  • Reviews and edits data requirements and documents according to required standards by utilizing prescribed tools and methods to ensure that design and implementation are according to company guidelines and client specifications.
  • Applies data analysis or data modeling techniques to establish, modify or maintain complex data structures and their associated components to increase efficiency of structures and components.
  • Analyzing claims data from various sources to identify patterns, trends, and insights related to population health. Involves performing advanced statistical analysis and data mining techniques to segment patient populations, assess risk factors, and evaluate healthcare utilization patterns.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of population health informatics systems and analytics tools to support data-driven decision-making in healthcare organizations. Work closely with IT teams to integrate claims data with electronic health records (EHRs) and other data sources to create comprehensive population health management solutions.
  • Identifying trends and patterns in the health status and healthcare utilization of the underserved population to inform public health strategies and interventions aimed at improving overall population health.
  • Develops risk stratification models using claims data to predict the likelihood of adverse health outcomes and identify high-risk patient populations.
  • Provides training in data modeling techniques and incorporating data modeling into information systems to ensure consistency in development and maintenance of database structures across the company.

What we're looking for

  • Six (6) or more experience in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, and SAS. Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Five (5) or more years of SQL and SSIS experience.
  • Bachelor Degree
  • Proficiency in developing and deploying predictive models using claims data to forecast future trends, identify potential fraud, and improve risk assessment. Knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms is essential.
  • Experience in providing actionable recommendations based on data analysis and experience in optimization techniques to suggest the best course of action for improving in patient care outcomes.
  • Stay up to date on changes to HEDIS specifications and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.

The pay range for this position is $92,900.00 - $132,700.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
