Experienced Fabricator/welder

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the fabrication of various components, ensuring adherence to industry standards and specifications. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work effectively in a construction site environment. The Fabricator will utilize hand tools, cranes, and precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to produce high-quality products. Responsibilities • Fabricate ductwork and other components according to project specifications and codes. • Utilize hand tools and machinery, including cranes, to assist in the fabrication process. • Measure and cut materials accurately using micrometers and calipers. • Solder components as necessary to ensure structural integrity. • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards. • Stay updated on industry codes and standards relevant to fabrication processes. Qualifications • Proven experience in fabrication or a related field is preferred. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and machinery. • Familiarity with ductwork fabrication techniques is highly desirable. • Experience working on construction sites, understanding site safety practices. • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints. • Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers. • Knowledge of welding techniques, particularly FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), is a plus. • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
