Experienced Licensed Journeyman Electrician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Experienced Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both residential and commercial electrical work, demonstrating proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as hands-on experience with power tools and low-voltage systems. This role requires a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential settings, read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems. • Utilize various tools, including ohmmeters, power tools, and logic controllers for installation and troubleshooting tasks. • Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) during all work performed. • Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and safely. • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues or hazards. • Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices or less experienced electricians as needed. • Manage your own job and crew proficiently. Experience • Proven experience as an Electrician in both residential and commercial environments is essential, and pay will be based on your knowledge and performance. • Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is required. • Familiarity with low-voltage systems and logic controllers is a plus. • Strong understanding of the NEC standards and regulations. • Experience using various power tools safely and effectively. • Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues with precision and efficiency. • Proficiency in organizing and running a crew.
