Experienced Software Engineer

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to help drive the evolution of Beacon Platform’s Core technology, which is powering the future of Finance in the cloud. Join a highly skilled, innovative team to design and deliver our Core Runtime and Development Environment. In this role, you will leverage state-of-the-art technologies to deliver an integrated runtime and development environment to the Beacon developer community and advanced business users to rapidly innovate together. As a senior member of the team, you will have opportunities to work directly with our customers, take the lead on projects, and mentor junior developers. 

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of experience and technical knowledge in software engineering
• Knowledge in software design, OOP, data structures and algorithms
• Experience with C++/Rust and Python
• Experience with SDLC tools, agile development,  and continuous delivery

What Will Make You Stand Out

• Experience with cloud-native, highly available and performant systems
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, Docker, Linux administration 
• Experience in a Tech or FinTech company and/or experience with SecDB/Athena/Quartz 
• Expertise in multiple languages and paradigms, such as C++, Python, Go, Rust, javascript 
• Technical leadership desire and ability
