Experienced Welder/Fabricator - Must Know TIG

Job Type Full Time Schedule: Monday - Friday - 6am - 3pm Job Description - Minimum of 5 years of Experience POSITION OVERVIEWBrace Manufacturing is seeking a fabricator with experience welding MIG, TIG, and Stick. The welder supports daily manufacturing work schedules, meeting all goals of safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Essential Duties and Responsibilities(Day to day functions): • Ability to MIG, TIG, and Stick Weld • Ability to understand drawings ie: welding call outs and symbols • Ability to properly measure and calculate part dimensions • Ability to meet product specifications • Welding Certification is a plus, but not required • Clearly communicate and document non-conformance • Maintains a clean work environment including daily cleaning of floors and machinery within the assigned work area. • Self-sufficient on start-up and shutdown equipment procedures including re-starts after minor stoppages. • Demonstrates ability to perform setup and operate machine in safe & efficient manner. • Ability to understand what materials and welding consumables will be required. • Performs necessary quality checks of parts including the effective use of calipers and protractor. • Works closely with team leader and team members to achieve necessary work requirements • Other duties and projects as assigned.
