Job Description
Founded in 2012, The Future Party (TFP), is a media company at the intersection of pop culture and entrepreneurship. Recently acquired by NVE Experiential Agency, TFP delivers exclusive live experiences, cultural programming, and world-class editorial content tailored for millennial and Gen Z audiences. The Future Party is an interactive forum for 10,000+ members across North America to share ideas and create community within the worlds of entertainment, music, media, tech, fashion, and art. The Future Party Community is made up of trendsetters, tastemakers, and entrepreneurs who, via creativity and entrepreneurship, are shaping cultural moments for the future.
About Our Internship Program:
Our Summer 2023 internship cycle takes place between June 2023 – August 2023.
This is an unpaid, remote educational internship (school credit available). Our interns gain a hands-on learning experience unparalleled in the classroom. As an intern, you will report directly into a supervisor and have the opportunity explore their career field of interest, gain in-house agency experience, acquire new skills for resume building, and establish vital career networks and mentors.
Summary of Position:
During this term, the Experiences intern will gain insight from all members of the department and assist in a variety of creative and production tasks. The internship is focused on event/content production, content creation, proactive pitches, and cultural trend spotting. You will be involved in interacting with the TFP community both digitally and at live events. In curation and production of the events TFP creates, you will learn how to build, strategize, market, and execute an experience through the lens of creative storytelling.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work alongside our Experiences & Collaborations team to execute a variety of projects and proactively build for future collaborations
- Conduct research on trending influencers, talent, culture topics to contribute to the TFP newsletter
- Assist in community building
- Manage and maintain Influencer tool kit with incoming talent/management current information
- Provide assistance with virtual events and talent management
- Organize and build event organizational booklets, from run of shows, to creative storytelling concepts
- Attend and participate in all TFP team meetings
- Assist with basic administrative office duties
- Complete and present end of semester intern project
Requirements:
- Be currently enrolled in a college/university
- Must have personal laptop/computer
- Must be able to work at least 2 full days a week (8 hour days)
- Must be willing to learn new skills and an overall go getter
- Must have experience/accessibility taking meetings digitally via Zoom
- Proficiency in and access to Microsoft Office, Keynote, and Adobe applications (e.g. Word, Excel, and Power Point)
