Experiential 3D Designer
Job Description

- Gain hands-on experience with dimensional design and image editing software while helping in delivering design requirements
- You will have the opportunity to be guided as wells as work independently with some of the best creative minds in the industry while developing your 3D design skills

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior environmental design, graphic design, and technical staff to deliver on all design requirements
- Create and model 3D environments based on 2D floor plans and reflected ceiling plans
- Be able to work on multiple projects at once and take on specific tasks to support projects currently being developed
- Stay abreast of the latest technologies and trends in the industry of corporate stage design
- Select furniture and other rental elements to align with project requirements
- Develop physical and virtual presentations, including but not limited to 3D models, renderings, and when necessary, video walkthroughs
- Endeavor to become familiar with, add to, and maintain the environmental design model library
- Take in constructive criticism and produce quality work
Requirements
All interested applicants must include your portfolio and/or a personal website along with industry references.
- A portfolio of 3D design and other creative projects that show you're fit for the role
- Bachelor's degree in experience design (or a related field) from an accredited institution
- Required software skills: SketchUp, Twinmotion (or other 3D renderer). Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office a plus
- Strong visual communication skills through sketching, modeling, and 3D rendering
- Strong problem-solving ability, aka being able to pair creative thinking with fixed details and requirements
- Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills both verbal and written
- Organized with a strong ability to work under pressure, shift gears quickly without losing ground, and prioritize critical tasks
- A work ethic that allows both independence and the ability to collaborate with broader team
- Experience in theater and broadcast sets a big plus
- This role requires you to be in the office 3-4 days per week in Norwood, MA
