The Team

Kraken is looking for an Experiential & Events Specialist to join our Brand Marketing team. In collaboration with our Head of Brand Partnerships and VP of Brand and Creative you will manage our events program and strategy including producing and participating in events conferences brand partnerships activations VIP experiences and more. You will work closely with all Marketing functions including Brand Social Growth and Creative teams as well as Managed Accounts Product and other departments to produce quality events and activations to engage customers partners and investors. You will also own our hospitality management and execution across Kraken.

The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is creative versatile a strong communicator and collaborator internally and externally and able to ideate and produce creative efficient and engaging events content on tight deadlines. You are a self-starter that has experience wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment switching effortlessly between planning and execution.

This position is a full-time remote position reporting to the Head of Brand Partnerships.

The Opportunity

• In collaboration with our Head of Brand Partnerships and VP of Brand and Creative plan our in-person and virtual events strategy

• Manage event logistics and execution for conferences partnership activations virtual events

• Connect Kraken business priorities objectives and key messages across events and partnerships

• Coordinating and managing pre-event promotion on-the-day management and post-event follow up activities including email campaigns surveys and other inbound and outbound correspondence

• Lead event execution logistics internally by collaborating with cross-functional Kraken Marketing and business teams to develop assets for event communication and execution

• Oversee all hospitality logistics across brand partnerships as well as sponsored conferences and events

• Help lead the development of post-event content for various distribution channels

• Assist with the creative development of event initiatives from branding agenda design content creation and venue selection to event execution

• Negotiate and manage external partners/vendors

• Manage event budgets efficiently through forecasting and tracking

• Demonstrate results and effectiveness of events efforts internally through related data collection and reporting

• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Skills you should HODL

• 2+ years of experiential and virtual event management and planning experience preferably within the digital assets industry

• Experienced and willing to work across all aspects of the Marketing process: future products current business marketing communications branding positioning and messaging and downstream demand / lead generation

• Entrepreneurial spirit along with strong communication partnership / relationship-building collaboration and project management skills

• Strong time management organizational and multitasking skills flexibility and professional confidence

• Demonstrated ability to efficiently work on multiple project requests simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

• Passionate about Crypto with a solid understanding of the space

• Experience working cross-functionally and communicating to a wide range of stakeholders

• Experience in a fast paced and high growth environment ability to pivot to the needs of the market.

• Ability to learn and manage a number of different organizational tools
