We are hiring an Experiential Marketing Lead to support Cedar's virtual and in person events, brand activations, sponsorship and gifting strategy across. This role will provide marketing support, leveraging industry best practices, and will manage logistics and tactical workstreams for both virtual and in-person events, helping to provide consistency across Cedar's marketing activations.
This is a fast paced and collaborative role that requires someone with a natural ability to provide strong project management, create open lines of communication internally and externally, and drive progress on key initiatives, event activations, sponsorships and cross-functional projects. This role requires a highly resourceful individual who thrives in a fast-moving, complex environment requiring strong organization, self-motivation, and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-changing industry.
What you'll do
  • Event Management: Lead end-to-end project management, oversight and logistics &productions tracking for upwards of 30+ annual events/activations. Overall owner of "uniquely cedar experience"
    • Including virtual events, platforms, and tech vendors - HopIn, LinkedIn Live, Streamyard
    • This role is Cedar's primary lead for managing day-of production, logistics, and all planning
    • Hotel and venue management, Vendor management (catering, AV, etc),
    • Design and manage event gifting strategy
    • Represent Cedar at 5-7 industry events & conferences, as well as quarterly Cedar-hosted events - requiring semi-frequent travel.
    • Manage tradeshow booth
  • Project Management: Create and manage project plans along with project, staffing and delegation plans. Manages master events calendar and ensure it is up to date with the latest dates, location and event contacts
    • Asana
    • Coordination with internal stakeholders including content, design, sales, etc
  • Reporting: - Partner with Marketing Ops to analyze, track and report on event ROI based on predetermined pipeline, revenue, MQL / target account penetration metrics, among others
    • List management & Registrations & Attendee support
    • Salesforce integration
    • Responsible for registration reporting, daily reconciliation, daily view/access, and coordination with Cedar's existing databases.
  • Administrative: Manage contracts, payments and invoicing for all experiential activations ensuring timely distribution of funds to event partners/vendors
    • Budget Management - Tracking and Spend down
  • Customer Service - be the first line of communication for all event marketing initiatives

What you have
  • 5+ years of related marketing experience, ideally in event or project management
  • Comfort working in a high growth, constantly changing environment. Experience working at a high growth tech company, recommended.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability; outstanding project management, execution, and business acumen.
  • Experience with data management and project management softwares, including Salesforce, Asana, Hubspot and others.
  • Experience crafting and producing branded experiential activations that have driven measurable earned media attention and buzz
  • Strong personal presence, keen self-awareness and social intelligence.
  • Passion about Cedar's mission, vision and values.
  • A sense of humor (...seriously).
