Expert GIS Administrator

Geo Owl is searching for talented intelligence community professionals with at least 8 years of GIS administrator experience within the DoD or equivalent government agencies, in addition to other credentials. Our team members are responsible for supporting the United States Armed Forces in the tasks of collection, processing, and reporting critical intelligence information.

Requested Qualifications:

• Must be cleared at the TOP SECRET level with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
• Required to perform advanced level planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-level GIS and associated geospatial databases, network equipment, and software tools and applications. Must have eight years of progressive GIS server experience.
• Shall be highly proficient in administering and deploying both open source and commercial off the shelf (COTS) GIS server equipment in support of intelligence organizations.
• Expected to have a strong ability to write custom scripts for automation and analysis using Python, with knowledge of C# and Java.
• Shall be proficient in administering and deploying enterprise-level open source and COTS GIS server equipment in support of intelligence organizations.
• Needed to perform at a high/expert level in intelligence systems architecture design and evaluation.
• Shall possess an expert working knowledge of the discovery, analysis, and exploitation of geospatially oriented data, and the management of that data within a variety of Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) compliant applications and databases.
• Required to have strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must have a high/expert ability to manage and work with both static and dynamic streaming geospatial oriented data.
• Necessary as an Expert Geospatial Information Systems Administrator to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of certification in accordance with DODD 8570.01.
