Job Description

Nike Digital Marketing exists to connect deeply with consumers, serving them at the pace of culture in the digital spaces and platforms that matter most in their lives. This team is designed to connect the emotion of the Nike Brand, product, and experiences in new and powerful ways. The Global Digital Marketing offense delivers disruptive digital strategies to enhance brand concepts in service of our greater vision of making athlete dreams real.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

Global Digital Marketing is an inclusive, innovative, and passionate team. This role reports directly to the Sr. Director, Global Digital Marketing – Men’s. The role works collaboratively with many functions, including: Brand Management, Integrated Media, Social media, Retail, Comms, Sports Marketing, Creative, and Business leads. The role sits at Nike’s World Headquarters campus as part of the Global Organization, but partners closely with Geography teams in North America, APLA, Greater China, and EMEA.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Nike’s Digital Marketing team is looking for an experienced, transformative, energetic leader with a passion for sport and sport-culture, a deep understanding of the consumer digital/tech landscape, and bold, disruptive marketing vision.

Ideal candidates have a proven track record for developing and leading transformative, global marketing initiatives in the athlete/sport space – from strategic plan through execution; a desire to be part of a fast-paced, ambitious and high-performing team, hungry to lead the digital marketing industry; and a profound understanding of Gen Z consumers & athletes, including personal curiosity for the (digital) environments where they engage and spend time. Strong storytelling & communication skills, the ability to marry art (taste) and science (data), and a willingness to take calculated risks are also essential for excelling in this role.

Additional requirements include:

  • Open to work in Beaverton, Oregon (remote is not an option)
  • 7+ years of Digital Marketing experience (or related field)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of relevant education, experience and training.
  • Experience identifying and managing agencies, vendors & partners to bring strategies/ideas to life
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills with a highly developed ability to cultivate relationships in a diverse and complex organizational landscape
  • A personal connection to sport (ideally golf and/or tennis) and a genuine passion for the Nike Brand, athletes & product

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

As an individual contributor, you will lead the global digital marketing offense for Men’s Sport. At Nike, Men’s Sport includes the portfolio of Golf, Tennis, Baseball & American Football. Given this role’s global remit, you will focus primarily on Golf & Tennis. You will set a new vision for this offense and bring that vision to life through strategic marketing plans, ideas & execution tied to athletes, sport moments, product launches and campaigns.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing big, digital-marketing ideas and articulating them through clear and executable strategic plans
  • Rallying & aligning x-functional and leadership stakeholders around your ideas through strategic storytelling and the art of presentation.
  • Resource & delivery planning required to take your ideas/plans to market
  • Collaborating with and enabling high-performing, creative talent to bring ideas to life for the consumer.
  • Partnering with Geography/local teams and other functions to execute & extend your ideas and plans.
  • Leading and supporting cross-functional, project teams

We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment for all employees and job applicants. We offer a number of accommodations to complete our interview process including screen readers, sign language interpreters, accessible and single location for in-person interviews, closed captioning, and other reasonable modifications as needed. If you discover, as you navigate our application process, that you need assistance or an accommodation due to a disability, please complete the Candidate Accommodation Request Form.
