Expert IT Analyst, Reporting

Job Description:

Under the guidance of more senior team members, the Expert reporting analyst leverages knowledge of PWBI technology and Snowflake data lake.

The person will need to understand business performance reporting requirements, IT Outsourcing, IT Technologies and Service Level Agreements. An understanding of key performance indicators, report analytics and reporting logic is required.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Ability to design and implement effective analytics solutions and models with Snowflake
• Experience in development and administrate reports using Power BI Governance.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform detailed analytics
• Create relationships between data and develop tabular and other multidimensional data models
• Developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop.
• Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligence.
• Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals.
• Capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI.
• Expert in using advanced-level calculations on the data set.
• Responsible for design methodology and project documentaries.
• Very good communication skills must be able to discuss the requirements effectively with the client teams, and with internal teams.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Total 8 yrs. of experience in data analytics
• Requires a minimum of 2/3 years of related Snowflake.
• Requires a minimum of 3 years of related PW BI reports and governance.
• Previous background with data analytics and database development using BI

Preferred

• BE Eng. / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• Previous experience in customer facing roles or with customer meetings
