This is a unique opportunity for someone who takes pride in their veneer artistry and is ready to work on some of the most sophisticated residential and commercial millwork projects in the region. Position Overview As anExpert Veneer Craftsman, you will play a critical role in our veneer department. We are looking for a master of detail—someone with at least 5+ years of hands-on experience who understands wood like an artist understands paint. Key Responsibilities • Expert-level veneer selection, cutting, stitching, and splicing • Applying laminates and door skins with hot and cold glues • Step pressing and use of veneer press and guillotine • Precision cutting on table saws and detailed sanding with belt sanders • Analyzing wood grain and species for optimal presentation • Collaborating with other craftsmen on custom designs and finishes Required Skills & Experience • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as aVeneer Craftsman, preferably in a high-end or custom shop setting • Mastery of veneer materials, techniques, and tools • Machinery experience: veneer press, guillotine, belt sander, table saw • Physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs and stand for extended periods • Ability to follow all safety protocols (DOH, OSHA, CDC, etc.) What Sets You Apart • You take pride in your craftsmanship • You have a keen eye for beauty in wood grain • You're a self-motivated, team-oriented professional • You want to betheExpert Veneer Craftsmanin a shop that appreciates the art behind the work Why Work With Us? • TOP payfor TOP skill • 401(k) with company match after 1 year • 2 weeks vacation + 1 week sick time • Flexible schedule for family emergencies • Plenty of overtime opportunities, including weekend work • A supportive and highly skilled team environment Work Conditions • Shop environment with exposure to temperature shifts (as low as 40°F or above 85°F) • Regular exposure to dust, stains, solvents, and lacquers • Must wear PPE full-time • Requires physical labor, including bending, lifting, standing, and moving equipment or materials Additional Info • No formal education required—your work speaks for itself • Pre-employment prescreening required • Must work in person Come build something beautiful.
