Department Overview

Global Logistics supports the Supply Chain with the movement of supply to Distribution Centers and finished orders to Customers. Global Logistics manages Third Party Logistics suppliers to provide Transportation, Brokerage, and Freight Payment operations. Logistics is responsible for Cost, Quality, and Delivery of services to ensure the Supply Chain can support Customer expectations and MSI goals.
Job Description

In this role you will support Motorola US sites with Domestic and Export Logistics Operations. Primary responsibility is US Export operations, processing orders for export in multiple systems (primary Oracle), declaring exports to US Customs (ACE), working with internal support teams, supporting Export controls, preparing battery dangerous goods declarations, and working closely with MSI Freight Forwarders to ensure we are meeting customer order delivery requirements.

Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of Export Documents, Export Controls, Logistics Operations, and Incoterms

• Dangerous Goods battery certification

• Computer skills and software proficiency - email, spreadsheets, documents, Oracle ERP preferred

• Good communication skills - written, oral, non-verbal, active listening

• Customer First work ethic and focus

• Support operations before and after hours during the end of each quarter (Mar, Jul, Sept, Dec) to ensure customer order shipment and delivery success

Basic Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

• Prior experience supporting US Export and Domestic Logistics
