Export Coordinator
Job Description
Superior Brokerage Services is seeking an Export Coordinator! The Export Coordinator is responsible for handling our customer’s international shipments with an exceptional focus on quality and excellent service. The Export Coordinator is responsible for the fulfillment and shipping of all international orders as well as preparing all necessary export documentation for shipments.
This is a hybrid position with remote and in-office hours at a pay rate of $45,000 - $50,000 per year.
Job Duties Include:
- Assure accuracy and completeness of quotes, services, documentation, and billing for export services
- Arrange shipping documentation, clearances, shipping mode, delivery, and tracking and notification.
- Responsible for customer service and follow-up on shipment status in the Export area.
- Identify incidents and ensure resolution of incidents meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Create and confirm transport order to ensure pickup of the shipment.
- Establish and maintain new export business opportunities from both existing and billing for export services.
- Acquires necessary documentation and direction in a timely manner to serve customer needs.
- Oversee and monitor the preparation of documents and ensure complete and accurate files.
- Arranging and tracking logistic services that assure accurate and timely handling of products by air/ocean carriers, customs, and TSA guidelines.
- Service customer needs and always interact with all customers in a timely, professional manner.
- Display a thorough understanding of industry-related terminology and processes.
Required Skills:
- Excellent oral, written, presentation skills.
- Ability to demonstrate commitment to compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret documents and data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and database programs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and complete projects within assigned deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
- Strong Customer Service skills
