Job Description

The CATIA Designer is the linchpin of our design processes, employing technical skills in CATIA V-5 systems to accurately locate, wrap, unwrap, and apply customer artwork onto 3D CATIA surfaces. The design is visually dynamic, with a particular emphasis on layout accuracy and color definition placement. The role demands not just technical acumen but also organizational prowess and excellent communication to meet tight project deadlines.

 Who We’re Looking For 

An organized problem solver who can juggle multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines. Your role will be pivotal in providing computer documentation using established processes and offering ongoing technical support right up to final production. You'll liaise closely with our internal Exterior Livery Design team and external stakeholders such as Boeing Design Engineering, Customer Engineering, Paint Operations, and Tool Fabrication. Your mastery in 2-D and 3-D computer skills, especially on CATIA V-5 systems, combined with your passion, positive attitude, and excellent work ethic will make you an invaluable member of our team.

  • Experience: 1-2+ years in 2-D and 3-D CATIA computer design. An understanding of how to provide data in key components to evaluate problems.  
  • Skills: Mastery in CATIA V-5 systems, impeccable communication skills (both written and verbal), strong negotiation skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.  
  • Passion: Delivering design solutions that meet or exceed client and team expectations.  
  • Role: Collaborating with a wide range of teams, both internal and external, to deliver design solutions and meet project goals.  
  • Personality: Proactive, team-focused, authentic, transparent, and solution-oriented with a penchant for open-mindedness and accepting diverse perspectives.  


The salary range for this job in most US geographic locations is $67,000 - $101,000.

This is a hybrid role and requires weekly travel to office locations in Everett and Renton, WA. If applying from out of state, applicant must be able to relocate to Washington state.
