External Affairs Manager
Job Description
The External Affairs Manager is responsible for managing community partnerships and executive level events. The candidate should be passionate about the community, volunteering, and corporate social responsibility. The External Affairs Manager should enjoy creating an elevated experience for guests of Axxess' Executive Team, and planning and executing C-suite events. The ideal candidate must be organized, outgoing and enjoy working within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment that is mission and results-driven and community oriented.

What You Will Do...
- Manage corporate citizenship relationships and volunteer activities
- Manage the corporate citizenship budget, bringing forward proposals and engagement opportunities in alignment with Axxess' mission and vision and supporting our core pillars of education and health
- Curate one-of-a-kind experiences for clients, community partners and C-suite leaders working closely with External Affairs leadership, to deliver a "Presidential Experience" for External Affairs managed events
- Attend and host at Axxess sports suites, industry conferences, and signature Axxess sponsored events
- Represent Axxess at community events including nonprofit organizations and university partners
- Lead the External Affairs team in process development for delivering an elevated and exceptional experience for executives and visitors
- Responsible for executive events including planning, RSVPs/Guestlist management, staffing, and execution
- Responsible for maintaining Axxess contacts in Salesforce and managing corporate citizenship software volunteer management using Helper
- Represent Axxess in a professional manner at all times
- Manage event vendor relationships, event budgets, and invoice processing
- Curate holiday gifting for executive team and plan holiday event for Axxess
What You Bring...
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience hosting and providing excellent guest services and engagement
- Passion for the community, employee volunteering, and corporate social responsibility
- Ability to work professionally with executive team
- Efficiency and meticulous attention to detail
- Outgoing and energetic personality, excellent communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel throughout the United States and possibly out of the country for events
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule as there may be events/meetings on evenings or weekends
- Flexibility, energy, strong values, and a can-do attitude
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and determine priorities independently
- High level of confidentiality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
