Responsibilities

• Develop Android applications specifically designed for setting up, controlling, and interacting with UniFi's products.
• Focus on creating user-friendly interfaces and seamless integration with UI devices, ensuring a high-quality user experience.
• Review and provide feedback on team members' code to ensure it follows best practices and efficiently interacts with UI products.
• Actively engage in troubleshooting and refining app functionalities to enhance product interaction and user satisfaction.
• Contribute innovative ideas to improve app performance and user interaction with UI products.
• Work with cross-teams to create great products!

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with software version control and release via Git.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin/Java.
• Ability to speak and write in English fluently.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of professional Android application development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and a comprehensive understanding of the Android SDK.
• Expertise in Android design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Demonstrated skills in debugging and maintaining a high standard of coding style.
• Experience in software integration and test automation.
• Familiarity with network protocols such as HTTP, and TCP/IP, and experience with networking libraries in Android.
• In-depth knowledge of real-time communication technologies, with a focus on WebRTC, MQTT, etc.
• An enthusiasm for working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
