Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Military Engines' Sustainment Operational Readiness organization, which provides technical and logistic products and services to the worldwide propulsion fleet across the globe and be a part of a team that is setting up worldwide capabilities for the F135.

The Global Site Activation (GSA) team is seeking a qualified candidate to support special Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul and Update (MRO&U) projects and the organization's continuous CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) transformation.

This position will offer an opportunity to participate in delivering initial and full capabilities for all U.S. and international MRO&U depots, Final Assembly & Check Out (FACO) centers, and engage in the International (OCONUS) operations. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure and experience across a wide variety of disciplines and organizations, interface directly with leadership, while developing skills and contributing to deliver critical capability to the War Fighter.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and assess key process indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics for the OCONUS operations.
  • Collaborate with various GSA process owners to maintain and mature the organizations SIPOC, standard work and process maturity, while ensuring seamless integration with the value stream stakeholders. This includes, driving the organizations' process analysis (QCPC), MFA feedback processes and developing respective action plans.
  • Maintain the GSA scorecard and control tower metrics.
  • Facilitate and maintain the activation Passport process and criteria, and integration into Operational Readiness criteria.
  • Develop supplier assessment KPIs and feedback methods.
  • Closely collaborate with our Digital Technologies team, to enable our processes and KPI management.
  • Train and coach GSA team on using the CORE methods and tools, as well as assist in facilitating continuous improvement events.
  • Support domestic (CONUS) and international (OCONUS) depot activation program managers with project assignments and contractual deliverables. Depending on future contractual funding, opportunities to directly co-lead activation projects will be regularly evaluated.
  • Travel Requirements, 10%-20%, all international locations
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in aerospace / industrial operations and/or aviation maintenance required.
  • US Citizenship is required due to government contracts.
  • Must have the ability to obtain a security clearance for compliance to US DoD security regulations is required.
  • Travel Requirements, 10%-20%, all international locations

Preferred Qualifications:
  • A working knowledge of lean operating systems and continuous improvement tools, with an RTX CORE apprentice certification, and/or from an equivalent lean program.
  • At least 3 years of experience in operations, industrial, or supply chain project management in the gas turbine aftermarket/sustainment services.
  • Advanced lean / CORE competency, with direct experience leading Kaizen events and applying the lean tools.
  • Familiarity with military contracts, and organizations such as JSF Joint Program Office.
  • Ability to quickly understand, interpret and communicate technical and facility specifications and data.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, SAP familiarity, and ability to quickly become adept in computer applications.
  • Ability to support a fast paced, dynamic, complex, and results-based environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, organizational / time management skills, and self-initiative; and demonstrated ability to lead others, deliver timely results and effectively interface at all organizational levels.
