Job Description:
Role and Responsibilities:
Invoice Verification and Entry: Review invoices for accuracy and completeness. And enter invoice details into the accounting or ERP system.
Matching Invoices: Match invoices with purchase orders and goods received notes to ensure consistency.
Payment Processing: Prepare and process payments, including electronic transfers, checks, and wire transfers.
Vendor Communication: Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and answer payment-related queries.
Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of all invoices and payments, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Key Skills required:
Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in invoice verification and data entry to avoid errors.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and reconcile accounts, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues.
Communication Skills: Effectively communicating with vendors and internal teams to resolve invoice-related queries.
Time Management: Managing multiple tasks and deadlines to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
Problem-Solving Skills: Addressing and resolving discrepancies or issues that arise during the invoice processing.
Knowledge of Accounting Principles: Understanding basic accounting principles and practices to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Compliance Awareness: Ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
