Fabric Cutter

Position Overview

The Fabric Cutting Machine Operator position is a crucial part of the production process. We are looking for an operator with similar experience that can help cut various types of fabric to feed production lines.

This is a day shift position that works Monday-Thursday 5:00am to 3:00pm (OT may be required Fridays and some Saturdays as needed) 

What you'll do

• Rolls of fabric that need to cut are about 1ft thick and 16ft long, candidate must be able to lift upwards of 50lbs to load the rolls onto the machine
• Will receive the cutting orders in the system and use an RF scanner as needed
• Will be making several cuts per hour
• Must inspect the fabric and ensure the quality of the fabric meets the company's standards
• Will be performing certain math equations to ensure the correct fabric sizes are cut 
• Will be using the tape measure for each cut 
• Must communicate any issues with fabric or systems promptly 
• All other duties as assigned

Who you are

• Have at least 1-2 years of experience working in a similar role 
• Have the ability to lift up to 50lbs throughout a 10 hour shift 
• Capable of standing for extended periods of time
• Can follow written and verbal instructions
• Have attention to detail
• Good communication skills
