Facilites Engineer

The Lab Operations Supervisor will develop, implement, and continuously improve programs related to safe and efficient lab R&D operations. The Lab Operations Supervisor will also play a critical role in ensuring minimal lab production downtime and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures within Cuberg's lab R&D operations. The Lab Operations Supervisor will work with other key teams such as facilities, maintenance, and R&D operations to build a safer and more efficient lab.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S., preferably in Engineering or Life Sciences
• Demonstrated experience working safely in a laboratory setting
• Ability to convey technical information to various stakeholders
• Experience working with external vendors and internal customers for equipment scheduling, downtime, and repairs
• Ability to troubleshoot and apply analytical problem solving for technical lab/R&D processes

The San Fransisco / Bay Area base salary range for this full-time position is $104,000 - $126,000 + equity + benefits.

• Base pay is determined by level + years' of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Establish and uphold a Safety 1st culture
• Conduct routine environmental, health, and safety audits and inspections in all lab spaces
• Manage lab consumable and spare parts inventories for minimal production downtime
• Train all lab staff from operators, technicians, scientists, etc. on appropriate processes and equipment
• Ensure lab staff from operators, technicians, scientists, etc. are following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
• Assist Maintenance/Facilities team to ensure lab equipment is properly maintained
• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects
